Ishmeet Singh (PT)
Today, at the 9th International Conference of Physical Therapy (INCPT) at AIIMS, New Delhi, my team at SparshMind Innovations Pvt. Ltd. took the stage with one mission-to show what the future of neurorehabilitation can and should look like.
We introduced ReMind, our VR-based neuro-rehabilitation solution, to a packed audience of clinicians, educators, and students from across the country. More than a demo, it was a conversation and a chance to collectively imagine a world where evidence-based, immersive rehab tools are not a luxury, but the standard.
ReMind was born out of a shared frustration- traditional rehabilitation, while grounded and effective, often lacks engagement, scalability, and access especially for stroke and neurological patients navigating long-term recovery.
As a clinician-researcher and early founding member and the Chief Medical Officer of SparshMind, I’ve always believed that innovation must be grounded in clinical reality. ReMind wasn’t built in isolation by engineers in a lab- it was built with expertise from clinicians like me and neurorehab experts from AIIMS New Delhi, and with patients who helped shape every iteration.
At SparshMind, we’re not just building tech for the sake of novelty. We’re bridging the gap between clinical insight and technological potential. Our platform blends task-specific motor and cognitive training in virtual environments tailored for post-stroke and acquired brain injury populations. It’s immersive, adaptive, and most importantly- accessible and affordable.
I’ve led the clinical visioning, research design, and user testing of ReMind, ensuring every protocol aligns with real-world rehab goals. My experience in neuro rehab and health systems research shaped how we approach usability, safety, and outcome measurement — not just the aesthetics of the platform. What we demonstrated today wasn’t just software — it was the outcome of hundreds of hours of patient interactions, team debates, and failures that taught us what doesn’t work.
A special shoutout to Hari Krishnan, Hrishi and Nayan, and our entire interdisciplinary team whose passion, stubborn curiosity, and shared purpose brought this vision to life.

We’re still building. Still learning. But today was a powerful reminder that the future isn’t something we wait for. It is something we prototype, refine, and deliver- together.
