Couldn\u2019t be prouder of our Senior Occupational Therapist, Twinkle Luthra<\/strong>, who presented her research poster<\/strong> at the 63rd International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) Conference<\/strong> in Antwerp, Belgium<\/strong> – the most prestigious global platform in spinal cord injury care and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twinkle\u2019s work focuses on the development of a novel outcome measure for Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)-Spinal Cord Injury-Instrumental Activities of Daily living (SCI-IADL) Measure <\/strong>a culturally sensitive patient reported outcome measure specifically tailored for individuals with spinal cord injury – a much-needed addition to the international therapy outcome measures. Her research draws from real-world practice and patient input, addressing a huge gap in how we measure community reintegration and functional independence post-SCI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes this moment even more special is the humility with which she walked into the conference – never having imagined she\u2019d attend ISCoS, let alone present her own work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But her presence there wasn\u2019t luck. It was earned through sharp clinical insight, perseverance in research, and a deep commitment to meaningful outcomes for patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twinkle didn\u2019t just share data, she sparked conversations, built global connections, and left many of us inspired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
